Let’s put oyster shucking at the top of the list, in celebration of today’s opening of the Austin Oyster Co. Wine Garden. Step up to the window for a dozen oysters and a knife before letting the experience begin. New to the raw ritual? Worry not — you’ll be given a link to a tutorial vid as well as written instructions. The inviting spot also offers tinned fish, caviar and soft serve ice cream to pair with wine, spritzes, a rotating frozen cocktail, beer and N/A sips to enjoy at the picnic tables.
