It's Hippie To Be Square

Totes amaze.

San Diego Public Market
1735 National Avenue
San Diego

Your TOMS are threadbare and your Trader Joe's bags are ripping at the seams.

As a girl who's been in the eco-know since way before hemp was hip, you probably already know that the San Diego Public Market, open Wednesdays and Sundays, is the most fabulous new farmers market around. With additions in the works like Market Kitchen to offer classes, Market Hall to feature butchers, bakers, local farmers and artisan foods, as well as Market Plaza to focus on movie nights and cultural festivals all under one über hip warehouse roof, the sky is the limit. Right now you can sample fare from the Salmon Slinger, Sustainable Pantry and Supernatural Sandwiches among many delish others.

Quick, before your Burt's Bees chap stick is down to the nub.

You may have known about the San Diego Public Market, but did you know about all the other cool stuff in the works? Check out their FB page for daily updates on vendors and other cool events.
