Project Resolution

Make a resolution you can keep: To discover some things that make this city one of the best on Earth.

Lose 15 pounds, stop gossiping, find Mr. Right.

It's cute what you think you'll be able to accomplish this year. While you're working on that ambitious list of resolutions, consider promising to discover (or rediscover) some things that make San Antonio one of the greatest cities on earth.

Hike the Mission Trail. The gorgeous 8-mile path covers four preserved missions, with food or water available at most stops. Take a leisurely pace and enjoy the charm of our city's rich history.

Bike with the hipsters at Blue Star Brewing Company. Rent some fab wheels at Electra Bikes (upstairs from the bar) and spin around for a new perspective of Southtown and the Mission Trail, or take part in group Bike Night every Monday.

Strike out for a stroll around the newly restored Japanese Tea Garden in Brackenridge Park, and enjoy the serene setting (think exotic plants and Koi ponds) in a what was a pre-historic gathering place.

When you're done, you can get started on that volunteer work you blew off last year when you found out it conflicted with _Gossip Girl_.
