Delight in the collages of local artist Kelly O’Connor, whose work is the first to take residency in Feliz Modern’s new gallery space. Inspired by happy places like the tea cup ride in Southern California and the whimsy of Wonka and Oz, the large-scale pieces, below, are layered with vintage metallic paper, mid Century photos and other childhood nostalgia.
It’s a small whirled after all.
