For true inspiration, meet the woman famously known as Pablo Picasso's muse, Françoise Gilot. The Paris-born artist will have her work on display in one of the most noteworthy exhibitions to open in New Orleans’ Arts District this year. Monotypes: Cartography of Hidden Worlds will grace the space at Mac-Gryder Gallery in conjunction with Hancock Whitney White Linen Night THIS Sat., Aug 3. Explore 10 rare monotype works, plus drawings and oil paintings from a woman whose career stretches 85 years. Can't make it to the festivities? The exhibit will be on display through Sept. 21.
