C’est La Cinema

Celebrate your love of the cinema during the 22nd annual New Orleans French Film Festival February 15 - 21.

After your Valentine's indulgences, you woke up with macaron crumbs in your bed and a serious Côtes du Rhône hangover.
Keep the Parisian theme going at the 22nd annual New Orleans French Film Festival, starting today at the Prytania Theatre. The lineup showcases 17 feature length films, 3 shorts and free live music prior to select screenings. Take in the subtitles from new releases, as well as a few classics slipped into the mix. From adaptations of Beauty and the Beast to the showing of On Va Continuer! which follows the recording of the latest album from Louisiana's own Lost Bayou Ramblers, you'll be in cinema sensory overload. Particularly so after catching a glimpse of Rihanna in a hand-embroidered canary yellow gown, pictured, at the Met Gala from the haute couture inspired film, Yellow is Forbidden.
