Air Your Clean Laundry

Art neophytes be not afraid the "Whitney White Linen Night" which takes place next Saturday, August 1st, from 6 to 9 p.m., gives you a shot to mingle with the artsy folk in a judgment free zone.

Sophisticated Artsy Friend: I feel like this painting is an interpretation of the repressed soul of modern society. What do you think?

You: Ummm does this gallery have a bathroom?

Does your art knowledge begin with the paint-by-number masterpieces you did as a child and end with the Intro to Art History course you slept through in college? Art neophytes be not afraid-the Whitney White Linen Night, which takes place next Saturday, August 1st, from 6 to 9 p.m., gives you a shot to mingle with the artsy folk in a judgment free zone.

If asked your opinion regarding the art on display, simply tilt your head to the side, furrow your brow and say something deep like: What is art? Are we art? Is art art? Then walk away-preferably without tripping and spilling your drink.
