Now Open: Chelsea Corner

With the Rathbun name behind it, Chelsea Corner in Uptown lives again.

Chelsea Corner
4830 McKinney Ave
There was a time you couldn't step into Corner Bar without running into an old boyfriend.
Get a new lease on your love life by mingling at Chelsea Corner, a revival of the legendary 80s restaurant of the same name (that eventually morphed into Corner Bar). Completely reimagined and renovated by a team that includes #chefwithnoname (Kent Rathbun if we were allowed to say his name), his wife Tracy and Inwood Tavern owner Len Critcher, the spot features patio doors that roll up when the weather's nice, exposed brick and ombre tapestries by a local fiber artist. With your pinot you can pair burgers, fish and chips, charcuterie boards and classics from the original nautical-themed menu, like crisp honey-dough pizza.
Because sometimes you want to go where no one knows your name.
