There are some foods where portion control is relatively easy to keep in mind.

Hummus is not one of them.

Eat your weight in chickpeas at TLV, opening TODAY at Fareground. A collaboration between Berty Richter, chef and owner of food truck Hummus Among Us, and Chef Kevin Fink of Emmer & Rye and Henbit, the featured menu focuses on Israeli street food. A welcome addition to the mix of grub at the downtown food hall, here you'll nosh plates of Moroccan carrots, fire-roasted eggplant and street pita sandwiches like falafel and sabich. Not just for lunch and dinner, make your way through breakfast delights like savory pastries and poached eggs with traditional herbs and spices and mouth-watering desserts like milk pudding with rose water and coconut. 

It'll be a tahini takedown of epic proportions.
