Where To Get Lit

Heat things up downtown at live-fire restaurant, Hestia.

607 W. 3rd St.

Your penchant for whiskey cocktails this holiday season has shown you that you welcome a little extra warmth.

Which is why you'll be a fan of Hestia, now open downtown. Named for the “Greek goddess of the hearth,” the live-fire, modern-day grill house serves dishes that start in a 20-foot hearth. A taste adventure for your favorite foodie friends, the inventive menu from chef Kevin Fink of Emmer & Rye will surely catch your eye thanks to concepts like black chicken and kaluga caviar and 60-day dry aged ribeye with charcoal sauce of egg white amino and ember carrots. The modern space, with exposed brick and nooks of wine and firewood, beckon for a winter night's respite.

The ideal spot for a meet and heat.
