Meat Your Match
Just how you like it - slow and tender.
Our country is full of great rivalries: UT and A&M, East vs West Coast rap, Giudice against Gorga.
Lucky for us, San Antonio just nailed the 'cue competition with the addition of Blanco BBQ, which opened last night. Chef Art Mayo - a CIA grad - stripped and transformed the old roaring twenties building to serve up slow-cooked, fall-off-the-bone faves smoked over Texas Oak and Pecan, along with southern-style homemade sides. In case that's not tempting enough, the finger-lickin' spot also boasts an antique-y market filled with jams and jellies for sale. This month kicks off a live music series and weekly dance classes.
Sure to please any type of Joe.
