Hog Wild

Here, two new purveyors of pork that you’ll enjoy visiting with your man.

Man cannot live on bread alone, which we guess is why your guy eats platefuls of meat and nothing else. Here, two new purveyors of pork worth squealing about.

The adorable couple behind Conger's Smoke Shack parks their log-cabin-turned catering-truck in 09 weekdays for lunch and, due to their rapid success, now slings sliders at the Pearl Brewery on Saturdays. They're already known for slow-cooked ribs and local Kiolbassa sausage.

Another husband and wife who found love over fancy meats, the hipsters at Kocurek Family Artisanal Charcuterie delight customers with rosemary honey bacon, curry shrimp boudin blanc, Euro-inspired offerings and gourmet mustards at the Pearl on Saturdays. You'll find the foodies at other farmers markets, too, and teaching their popular sausage-making class.

See? You can eat with the boys. Just don't be a pig about it.
