Our Editors' Favorite Thanksgiving Dishes

Miss the chance to give back? Perishable the thought.

It's finally chilly enough to wear tights with boots (most days), college football is in full swing and Santa is making appearances at the mall. Yep, Spanx-giving is almost here.

To celebrate the season to be thankful, our editors are sharing their fave festive dishes, while finding ways to give back via the SA Food Bank's Food4SA Fill a Bag Feed a Family campaign. Drop off food around town while doing your T-giving shopping or donate online through their fun virtual food drive - interactive enough for your hyperactive niece who's suddenly too cool to draw turkey hands.

Anne Campbell, National Style Director
Fave Thanksgiving dish: Martha Stewart's cranberry relish
"I'm a vegetarian so turkey's never been my bag. I love loading up on crispy Brussels sprouts, mashed potatoes and my mom's amazingly fragrant sauerkraut - all topped with Martha's relish."

Catherine Dickson, Editor
Fave Thanksgiving dish: Stuffing
"I love the stuffing my mom makes each year with plenty of fresh herbs from the garden. No Thanksgiving Day is complete, however, without drinking (bourbon) egg nog from moose mugs!"

Maddie Mathews, Contributing Writer
Fave Thanksgiving dish: Mashed potatoes
"I always make them with my grandmother - no recipes allowed. But I have to give a shoutout to white wine. A few glasses plus the tryptophan in turkey means I'll definitely be napping post-meal."
