Now Open :: White's Mercantile

Modern day general store White's Mercantile makes its mark on Magazine Street.

White's Mercantile
3811 Magazine St.
New Orleans

Sometimes you don't know what you're shopping for until you see it.

Meet White's Mercantile, the retailer that invites you to wander and browse while the merch calls to you. The modern day general store first launched in Nashville, the vision of country music royalty Holly Williams—whose grandparents owned a mercantile in Mer Rouge, Louisiana, in the late 1800s. At the perfectly appointed Magazine Street location, you'll discover a varied collection of items ranging from porcelain mixing bowls, custom candle collaborations and covet-worthy straw hats to coffee table books, apothecary items, Bloody Mary mixes and organic dog treats.

You can't go wrong when everything's right before your eyes.

Meet owner Holly Williams, granddaughter of Hank William Sr., at White's Mercantile's Sip & Shop Party TOMORROW, Wed, Aug 28, from 5 - 7 p.m. Enjoy cocktails by El Guapo Bitters and secret perks—RSVP to neworleans@whitesmercantile.com
