Dear, You. Love, Anonymous

Meet your next coffee table book: The Beauty Fools.

You wouldn't even trust your bestie to have your iPhone passcode.
Taking trust to the next level comes the tale of a mysterious manuscript from England that arrived on the Lower Garden District doorstep of New Orleans-based editor Timothy Alan Weeks and artist Lala Rascic. The two painstakingly edited and beautifully illustrated the stories to create The Beauty Fools, a “Southern Baroque” tale that follows the book characters through celebration and collapse in 1990’s New Orleans, hitting on local landmarks and colloquialisms sure to tug on your heart strings. Snag a copy at Coup d’oeil Art Consortium, where an exhibit featuring multimedia installations, events and readings inspired by the pages will take place throughout the month.
Sometimes it pays to open up the vault.
