Now Open :: Seed

At Seed, vegan and vegetarians have a new spot to call home.

1330 Prytania St.
New Orleans

For those out of the vegan vernacular loop, sometimes the fare conjures up visions of cloudy kombucha or jars of thick Vegenaise.

New Prytania Street restaurant Seed is about to shift your definition. This bright and pretty space, outfitted with colorful prints from Tidbits' fave Gallery Burguieres, is the perfect setting for clean, garden-based vegetarian and vegan eats. Always with a NOLA sensibility in mind, plates like Southern fried nuggets (tofu deep-fried in chickpea flour), veggie spaghetti and beet carpacio will have you giggling as you nosh. The brunch is not to be missed (hello nuevos rancheros with cashew sour cream) and a range of earthy to sweet juices of kale, cucumber and ginger plus cocktail options will keep you buzzing about this spot.

You'll barley notice the difference.
