Start yours off on the right foot every time at Jewel of the South, now open in the French Quarter. The hotly anticipated restaurant from Nick Detrich and Chris Hannah is serving up masterful signature cocktails like the Brandy Crusta as an homage to celebrated New Orleans bartender Joseph Santini and his legendary 19th-century bar. Drop by the Creole cottage for menu items to the tune of pastrami cured beef tongue and kombu cured salmon. Eyeball the local art and lovely wall decor inside, or step out to the picturesque patio to toast amongst the ferns. 

This is the beginning of a beautiful courtyard ship.
