A celebration of locally sourced eats and sips, you'll get a glance behind the kitchen counter to pick up pointers and collect culinary knowledge on sustainable practices, as well as on growing, shopping and buying local. The can't-miss string of events kicks off with a one-day conference where you'll hear from an all-star speaker lineup that includes Cooking Light editor Ann Taylor Pittman and director of advocacy for the James Beard Foundation Katherine Miller - to name but two - and ends with a Chefs Taste Challenge, a spirited cooking competition featuring 10 of the south’s best farm-to-table chefs. You'll also love live music, cooking demos, tastings, marketplace and a new inclusion this year, the Farm & Table Jamboree – a free fest for farmers and food lovers featuring tips on growing your own bouquets and edible gardens, topped off with music by Marc Broussard and others.
