That's So Sketch

Julie Houts' book Literally Me shows that a little dark humor goes a long way.

Navigating social media can feel as tricky as walking in stilettos in grass.

Luckily we have the wit of talented illustrators like Julie Houts, in town this week, to help make it all seem funny and relatable. Her book Literally Me shines a humorous light on the twist and turns of conflicting messages and imagery we as a culture experience daily. The inspirational page turner is full of visual eye candy that pokes at female boss life, the modern world of dating, countering cliches and turning the idea of conventional beauty on its head.

A little satire is good for the sole.
