The Truck Stops Here

Let the wheels fall off.

Smack Shack
603 Washington Avenue North

There are monumental moments that prove you're growing up - actually needing deodorant and an underwire bra, and understanding what a W2 is.

High five a food truck that's matured into a brick-and-mortar establishment. Smack Shack is the latest coming of age story now setting up permanent shop in the Warehouse District. The menu still reads like a Mad Libs game, with lobster inserted in front of everything from guacamole and mac & cheese to corn dogs, along with non-crustacean seafood options like short rib tacos and fried green tomatoes. The Food Network's Guy Fieri even paid a visit last year for an episode of Diners, Drive-Ins and Diners.

If only shaving your legs was still exciting.
