Texas Mother Turned Artist

Dress up nursery room walls with unique art from Noshii.

Your daughter likes to pair carrots with peanut butter and your son likes frozen peas, but only if they are still frozen.

Sometimes the unexpected can actually be really good.

Take Texas artist Nosheen Saima Iqbal. The mother of two may be a creative director by day, but off the clock she crafts the most whimsical art using an interesting combo of wood and embroidery thread for her line Noshii. Her art, which has been featured in places like West Elm and Hermès, also happens to be a darling (and affordable) option for nursery room walls. Pieces like the slumbering lion (pictured), dreamy teepee and five-panel bunting garland are all made of embroidered, sustainable bamboo. She also does custom commissions ranging from sweet rainbows to multi-color monograms.

So there's something for everyone's taste level.
