Happy Birthday, Jenny Weber!

Our first Birthday Girl of 2020 is our very own Jenny Weber, Tidbits' Chief Operating Officer.

Happy birthday, Jenny! How are you celebrating this year?
I took a quick weekend getaway to Beachtown in Galveston with my husband and 5 year-old daughter. It was the perfect last getaway as a family of three.

Describe your role with Tidbits.
I’ve been with Tidbits for 9 years. We all wear many hats, but I lead our Front Row program and love all our members. Hint, hint, registration opens next month!

Part of your job is scouting what's new in town. Recent openings you're excited about...
Common Bond in the Heights, Color Factory, and our new AWAY and Outdoor Voices stores! Tidbits is hosting a party at Outdoor Voices Jan. 29 - save the date!

The Birthday Girl series is powered by Big Ass Balloons, pictured. How have you used BABs as a hostess?
I love BABs for all celebrations. Big or small, it turns a regular day into a festive party. Most recently, we hosted a gingerbread decorating party at our house and BABs created a balloon entryway that doubled as a stop sign for Santa on Christmas.

Neighborhood you call home.
We moved to Oak Forest two years ago from the Heights and I love it because there is so much more space, there is a great elementary school and it’s growing with new businesses opening every month like SkoahRe/forme Lagree and Les Baget

For a girl's night out, you usually suggest...
Either somewhere boozy where you can get all dolled up like a’Bouzy or Brasserie 19 or somewhere quiet with good wine like Simone on Sunset

Where do you always take out of town visitors?
El Tiempo for a Tex Mex fix, Tiny’s for brunch and 19th street in the Heights for a day of walking, shopping, exploring, eating and drinking.

Best spot in town for an Instagram photo...
We have so many good murals in Houston. I love the Greetings from Houston mural at Gelazzi or the Love mural on 19th Street, but I also love the Sabine Street bridge for view of the city skyline in the background.

Favorite spot to refuel?
You’ll either find me at Body Rock Pilates in Oak Forest or Citizen Pilates in the Heights.

Daily uniform?
Yoga pants and Golden Goose sneakers

Fave designers...
I love to mix clothing finds from Zara with designer accessories from Chanel and Gucci and Krewe sunglasses

Best place to office on-the-go.
EQ Heights or the school pick-up line.

Work tools you can't live without...
My MacBook, iPhone and Sony Alpha a6000 camera

Podcasts and TV series you're addicted to...
Real Housewives and everything Bravo is my guilty pleasure, so I’m obsessed with the Bitch Sesh: A Real Housewives Breakdown podcast.

What's always in your clutch?
iPhone, Chanel lipgloss in Excitation and Chanel wallet.

How many candles are you blowing out?

What's on your birthday wish list?
A healthy baby boy due March 2020 ...and these Dior slides I’ve been coveting ;)
