Jewelry Inspired by the Menil

Local jewelry designer Jessie Dugan is inspired by Houston's greatest buildings and neighborhoods.

You go to the Menil to marvel at the exterior as much as the artwork.
Meet Montrose resident and Parsons grad Jessie Dugan, a forward-thinking designer who uses 3D printing to make her jewelry. With a background working for Rag & Bone and Tory Burch in NYC before moving back home, she's shaped a collection around Houston treasures. Consider the brass Renzo ring, pictured, crafted to evoke the ceiling at the Menil, conceived by groundbreaking Italian architect Renzo Piano. You'll also like the Waugh collar necklace, Bellaire earrings, Shepherd studs, Richmond rosary and a piece that's an homage to James Turrell's Skyspace.
Rice to the occasion.
