New Open: Leña

Leña restaurant lights up on Broadway.

24 Broadway

You’re an adventurous foodie, but when it comes to cooking over an open flame, you might as well be tapped out on Naked and Afraid.

Take a stress-free en fuego culinary journey at the newly opened Leña on Broadway (that's firewood in Spanish). The hot spot serves traditional South American cuisine, like yummy varieties of empanadas and asado with wood-fired flare. The interior details - like the large wooden bar with Mexican tiles, star lanterns and Latin artwork - make for a cozy place to sip a paloma or pisco sour while taking in the scene. Drop in for happy hour (4 – 6 p.m.) for $2 tacos on house-made corn tortillas.

Watch your fears go up in smoke.
