Dining On A Dime

The Nickel debuts in historic Hotel Teatro.

You consider yourself a modern gal, but sometimes you fantasize about living in the roaring twenties just for the flapper dresses and classic cocktails.

Step back in time to The Nickel, the historic Hotel Teatro’s new restaurant. The sleek interior is full of reclaimed furnishings and industrial materials, a tribute to the building’s storied past (and its namesake) – the old Tramway Building had a vault to collect nickels from people riding streetcars. The Colorado-centered menu features seasonal fare with locally sourced ingredients, made even tastier by the large wood-fired grill, while vintage cocktails dominate the drink selection with throwbacks to classic drinks, like the Negroni, made with local liquor.

Retro dress and feather headband optional.
