Meet the Bag Snob

We caught up with Tina Craig, the local trendsetter behind the wildly popular blog Bag Snob, to find out about her brand new collaboration with denim line DL 1961.
If you could only carry one purse the rest of your life what would it be?
Well, it will be the "Tina" bag! I'm kidding, probably the Hermes Kelly bag. It can be a luncheon bag, an evening bag - it's just so versatile, well made and timeless.
What inspired your collection for DL 1961?
My idea was that jeans have always been skinny, bootcut or flared, but our line has seven styles for seven days of the week. We have a Sunday brunch jean, we have a cocktail jean, the hipster jean for girls night out, a travel jean. So, it's about tailoring jeans to a woman's lifestyle, instead of the other way around.
Do you have a favorite pair from your line?
I'm obsessed with the ombre. There are two different colors, the Fiji (purple) and the Bali (teal), and they are wax coated and so chic and the darker part is on the hip area, which is always slimming.
The must have bag for fall is...
There's so many, but I'm in love with the new Celine Case Bag.
What blogs are you reading?
Le Blog de Betty - she's a new friend of mine and she is the chicest little thing from Paris. I love Sea of Shoes by Jane Aldridge and the street style blogs like Street Peeper, and Jak & Jil. I look at all the street style photography because all those girls that they catch on the street, who mix and match, they're the ones that are relevant.
