Marshall Artist

Man in the mirror.

Pop Diner
3600 McKinney Ave

You always swear you'll check out the local art scene "next weekend," then find yourself two drinks deep with a plate of food and no desire to ponder pointillism.

Combine cuisine with a side of culture at Uptown's Pop Diner where Colleyville native Lesli Marshall's mixed-media pop art graces the walls of the appropriately-named diner next to Max's Wine Dive. All the art on the wall is for sale, so you can take home a rendering of the King of Pop or Punky Brewster that you'll fall in love with while biting into your chili dog at 2 a.m. (yes it's open 24 hours).

Pop goes the easel.

JoJo Eating House launches its new happy hour today. Hit the Uptown patio on weeekdays from 4-7 p.m. for $6 wine and $8 artisan flatbread.
