Two of Us in a Boat

Hand-crafted luxe Canoe hits Fort Worth for a pop-up shop at The Modern.

From your very first moto jacket to the cowboy boots you dream of pulling off, your love affair with leather has legs.

The same goes for Natalie Davis of Canoe, a modern leather goods line based in Austin. The designer has created a collection of beautiful pieces for accessorizing yourself and your home. Inspired by Texas visuals like vintage workwear and Outlaw country music, the selection of home goods includes light switch plates, trays and hand-stitched cognac arm chairs, along with adornments ranging from barrettes to bolos. We're also mad for her artwork like a life-size hand tooled and dyed eagle feather.

All sure to leave you a damsel in distressed.

Canoe joins fellow Austin designers Mantle and Leah Duncan for a pop-up at The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth tonight, March 6, at 5 p.m.
