The Bright Stuff

Peruvian fare with an abundance of flair makes Yuyo an early success.

1900 Manor Road

January is a month that lacks a key component to internal happiness: color.

Brighten up your world the moment you step foot into Yuyo, now open on Manor. The Peruvian restaurant is decked out with hanging woven basket lanterns, various greenery and plant life and multi-hued tapestries. And that's just the decor. The bright menu, ranging from the house specialty 'cebiche' - raw, cooked in citrus and seemingly more similar to Japanese sashimi than traditional Mexican ceviche - to plantains, mussels and a variety of veggie-forward plates, will lively up your palate. Adding to the flair, cocktails like the Maracuya Pisco Sour will go down like liquid sunshine.

Taste the rainbow.
