Tip Back a Tidbit

We've been branded with bourbon.

From hitting up our cocktail parties for the goody bags to pulling out your phone in a happy hour stupor to recall the spot we told you to check out for dinner, you've been drinking with Austin Tidbits for years.

So when we got to chatting with the talented 'tenders at Rainey Street fave Icenhauer's, where every drink on their specialty menu is named after an influential woman in owner Michael Icenhauer's life (family, friends, his fiance), we agreed that adding a signature cocktail dubbed "The Tidbit" to their menu for the month of August would be a perfect fit for this gal-friendly bar. At $9, our delish concoction, served in a hot pink Tidbits cup is a tasty twist on a classic Moscow Mule - ginger root, lime zest infused Bulleit bourbon, lemon and ginger infused simple syrup, fresh lime juice and ginger beer. Yes, it's as yummy and potent as it sounds.

We're the toast of the town - at least for the next month.

Be on the watch for Icenhauer's Olympic cocktail menu coming soon, featuring sips named after a variety of female US Olympic stars. Because athletes need to hydrate.
