See Inside :: Last Straw

Late night food and spiked beachy drinks reign supreme at Last Straw.

Last Straw
1914 E 6th St.

The Magnum P.I. reboot without the classic Selleck stache? We're not biting.

Hit up a place that celebrates the true beauty of a tropical shirt at Last Straw bar, now open on East 6th Street. A trip to the hideaway, ripe with visuals like beachy wall murals and flocked out lounge chairs, is like walking into a little piece of paradise. Hang on the patio and clink house cocktails like "The Last of Us," spiked with a blend of over proof rums and tiki bitters, or go all in with a calories-be-damned frozen “C.R.E.A.M.” swirling with Monkey Shoulder whisky, hoodoo chicory, pecan, pistachio, espresso and ice cream. The food menu is just as fun, with easy eats like burgers, fried rice and nachos available every night til 2 a.m.

A spot where you can go ahead and loosen that next button.
