Melting Pot

Fabi + Rosi manages to successfully make an impression on Austin, while still keeping true to its Euro-roots.

When you visit a foreign country, your best bet for getting along with the natives is to speak their language...or at least make an attempt to butcher it with the best intentions.

Recently-opened Fabi + Rosi uses local, sustainable provisions to create an ever-changing smörgåsbord of European delights from Germany, France, Italy and Spain, all expertly cooked by Chef Wolfgang Murber (who can dislike a chef who apprenticed in a German castle?) Get pleasantly tongue-tied ordering some schnitzel and spätzle, which you'll follow up a slice of bienenstich bee-sting cake.

No need to dust off your language books prior to dinner. Thumbs up is a universal sign.
