It's a Claw Brawl, Y'all

Get your claws on the Austin Lobster Roll.

Dock and Roll Diner
1503 S. 1st St.

Your summer vacay to New England was cancelled when you found out his ex found her way back into your guy's madras shorts.

Throw yourself an in town Maine-cation with a lunch trip to Dock and Roll Diner, the little food trailer nestled next to Elizabeth Street Cafe on South 1st. Celebrating coastal culture, this walk-up is home to Austin's Lobster Roll, packed with fresh lobster meat and served cold with specialty mayo, old bay lemon butter and chopped chive. Seek out roll renditions in the Connecticut and Rhode Island versions, or surprise your tastebuds with an Northeast-meets-succulent South version dubbed the Rich Kid, tempura beer battered lobster claws served po'boy style with homemade remoulade a la New Orleans.

Here's to hoping the one who got away finds himself with a nice case of end-of-season crabs.

Get your Dock and Roll on along with bites from a bevy of food trucks during Trailer Food Tuesdays at the Long Center, a series of gatherings on the last Tuesday of the month, starting NEXT Tuesday, July 31 through November 27. Select goodies from 10 trucks, including Coolhaus and The Seedling Truck, while enjoying entertainment and music. Free parking available at One Texas Center and around Auditorium Shores.
