Now Open :: Intelligentsia Coffee

A coffee bar with a conscious is now open downtown.

607 W. 3rd St.
Sometimes the only thing that makes you put the cork in the wine at night is the promise of caffeine in the morning.
Meet the newest spot to rise and grind, Intelligentsia Coffee. The cult-followed, Chicago-based java chain just opened its very first Texas location in downtown Austin. Step inside for single-origin coffees, espresso sips and brewed teas, along with inventive on-tap choices like nitro matcha oat milk lattes and sparkling tonics. As you take in the visual focal point, an Insta-shot worthy 20x40 mural designed by local artist Erin Curtis made of 4,800 recycled Elgin Butler bricks, tip back the signature Austin drink—the Roadrunner, made with cold coffee, fresh pressed grapefruit juice and soda over ice—then nosh delish treats from local faves Easy Tiger and Sour Duck.
The best way to take you from vino to cuppa joe.
