Give Creedence To This Retail Revival

“Who was that guy here last night?”
“Hey dirty girl, wash your face—mascara will stain.”
“You’re too old to be watching Pretty Little Liars.”
If your pillows could talk, what would they say about you? After she left a good job in the city, Harper Poe journeyed to South America to volunteer for Habitat for Humanity and returned with a love for philanthropy. Using her eye for design and textiles, she created Proud Mary Textiles, a socially responsible biz. Her collection consists of eclectic work from artisans in Guatemala and West Africa, who handcraft printed throw pillows, traditional Malian shawls, cotton totes and bucket bags in happy stripes. There are also $36 clutches and mint green summer ties for the kind of preppy gents that make you lose all inhibition.
But we’ll keep that between us Gilmore Girls.
