Stage Presents

Play a chorus for us.

Typically, the only time it's appropriate to have a crush on four guys at once is if you're a contestant on the Bachelorette.
Split your affection between the folk-rock foursome that is local band Friendly Savages. Their debut album "O, Joshua!," which just dropped last week, was recorded right in our little hood at 5th Street Studios. Compared most often to Mumford and Sons and the Avett Brothers, these cutie crooners bring in instruments galore, ranging from the guitar to a glockenspiel. Of the 16 tracks, we're most amped about the song "The Escape," which shot to #55 on iTunes' singer-songwriter chart upon its release. Download the song for free here.
All the roses, none of the thorns.

Tune in to Friendly Savages on Thursday, May 2, at Stubb's. Show starts at 8:30 p.m., and tickets can be purchased here.
