Austin's First Food Hall is Open

Play fare with choices for the entire group at Fareground.

111 Congress Ave.

Trying to get your coworkers to agree on a lunch outing is like trying to get them to decide which contestant is the least amount of cuckoo on the Bachelor - nearly impossible.

Play to the varying tastes of the entire group at highly-anticipated Fareground, now open at One Eleven Congress. At Austin's first food hall, you'll head downstairs to a variety of beloved local vendors - Antonelli's, Contigo, Dai Due, Easy Tiger and newcomers Henbit and Ni Kome - ready to serve up their signature fare at a mini version of the restaurant. Commandeer a table inside near the living wall - or outside on the below-street-level picturesque patio when the weather perks up - and take turns grabbing eats ranging from vegan ramen bowls and wild game tacos to breakfast bites and freshly baked bread baskets. Don't pass up the bar for a selection of vino, beers on tap and even funky sips like pineapple mezcal punch.

Will you accept this rosé?
